Farah protesters demand swift election results

FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): Activists of the Afghan Millat Party (AMP) held a rally in southern Farah province on Thursday demanding immediate results of the presidential election.
Jamaluddin Pacha Khail, AMP provincial president who led the rally of more than 300 participants said: “We urge the Independent Election Commission (IEC) to show respect to public’s vote and swiftly announce the results without further delay.”
He urged the international community to honestly back winner of the presidential election who would steer the country out of crisis.
