KABUL (Pajhwok): The Presidential Palace on Saturday said the new Wolesi Jirga-elect will be inaugurated after final results of the Oct polls are announced, but some sitting MPs say the lower house of Parliament should resume with old lawmakers after winter recess.
Article Eighty-Three says:

KABUL (Pajhwok): Hezb-i-Islami Afghanistan (HIA) leader Gulbuddin Hekmatyar on Thursday said the conflict in Afghanistan continued because of the foreign forces’ presence and the lack of an impartial government.
The HIA chief also called as illegal the dismissal of election commissions’ members without any investigations.

KABUL (Pajhwok): Political parties and movements have termed the sacking of electoral commissioners as a ‘fair decision’ and have demanded dismissal of the electoral bodies’ technical officials as well.
Holding a gathering in Kabul on Tuesday, around 30 representatives of political parties and groups expressed their opposition to a third time recount of Kabul votes, saying the certain process could pave the way for fraud.

KABUL (Pajhwok): Some Wolesi Jirga members have welcomed the removal of members of the election commissions and demanded re-election of the lower house simultaneously with presidential election this year.
